Fifteen Top Technology and Service Providers Earn SASE Certification

MEF, a global consortium driving enterprise digital transformation, has announced advancements in its SASE Certification Program. Fortinet and Versa achieved full certification, with AT&T, BT, Comcast Business, and others earning full certification. Broadcom and Palo Alto Networks are expected to achieve certification soon. The certification program validates cybersecurity solutions through testing of SASE, SD-WAN, SSE, and ZT capabilities.

MEF’s CEO, Nan Chen, emphasized the importance of security solutions amidst escalating cyber threats. Technology providers and service providers must complete three certification modules to achieve full certification, demonstrating a commitment to delivering secure solutions. The program ensures compliance with MEF standards and provides detailed ratings in MEF’s registry, enabling informed security investment decisions.

SASE certifications and advancements will be highlighted at MEF’s Global Network-as-a-Service Event in Dallas, Texas. The program aims to accelerate enterprise digital transformation by providing standards, technologies, APIs, and certification programs for NaaS. MEF is the authority for LSO, Carrier Ethernet, SASE, SD-WAN, ZT, and SSE technologies.

To provide further insight into the importance of SASE, MEF released its “State of the Industry Report: SASE – Validating Cyber Defense in an Era of Unprecedented Threats.” More information about MEF’s SASE certification program and the Global NaaS Event can be found on their website.
