The New Mexico State men’s basketball team suffered their first home loss of the season to Conference USA newcomer Kennesaw State. Despite a commanding lead in the first half, the Aggies fell short in the second half, losing 69-56. Standout performances included Jaden Harris scoring 14 points and Christian Cook extending his double-digit scoring streak to 12 games. Peter Filipovity also contributed with seven points and 10 rebounds. This loss marks the Aggies’ first home conference USA loss since February 2023. The team looks to bounce back as they host Jax State on January 25 at 7 p.m. from the Pan American Center.
