From Lincoln County to Lea County, good fishing conditions are reported at various lakes. In Lincoln County, fishing was fair to good using PowerBait at Alto Lake, while Bonito Lake saw fair to good fishing with corn and Orange PowerBait. Grindstone Lake had good trout fishing with worms and Salmon Glitter PowerBait, and Carlsbad Municipal Lake reported good fishing with Trout Magnets and spinners. Bottomless Lakes near Roswell had fair to good trout fishing using White PowerBait and corn, while Oasis Park Lake near Portales had good fishing with PowerBait. Other lakes reported on include Eunice Lake, Green Meadow Lake, Ute Lake, and Elephant Butte Lake. The fishing report also reminds anglers that conditions may change after the report is compiled due to weather and other factors.
