Northern New Mexico College’s Nursing & Health Sciences Department is celebrating a remarkable achievement for the second year in a row – all their students passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) on their first attempt. This 100% pass rate highlights the dedication of both students and faculty in the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program.
The department’s success can be attributed to various support systems in place, such as faculty-led tutoring sessions, a success coach, peer mentor programs, and partnerships with organizations like the Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence. These initiatives aim to provide students with the necessary resources and support to excel in their studies and ultimately pass the NCLEX exam.
Through these efforts, students in the program have been able to secure employment at prestigious healthcare institutions like Presbyterian Española Hospital and Christus St. Vincent. Northern New Mexico College continues to prioritize student success and offers a range of academic programs to meet the needs of the region. For more information, visit https://nnmc.edu/.
