The Los Alamos Historical Society will be hosting a free lecture on April 8th featuring renowned storytellers Cisco Guevara and Mike Katko. Guevara, a river guide and conservationist, will share captivating tales about the history and culture of Northern New Mexico. Katko, an educator and veteran, will also be sharing his insights through storytelling. Guevara, known for his humor and cultural insights, has been a fixture at the Taos Storytelling Festival for nearly two decades. Katko, on the other hand, has a diverse background in education and public service, and is the author of several books.
