Teen charged with murdering parents also allegedly plotted to assassinate President Trump, FBI reports

A 17-year-old Wisconsin teen, Nikita Casap, was charged with killing his mother and stepfather and living with their corpses for two weeks. In addition to these charges, an FBI affidavit revealed that Casap was also plotting to assassinate President Donald Trump. The FBI found a manifesto calling for the president’s assassination in order to start a race war and cause chaos. Casap also disclosed his plans to others on social media platforms and identified himself as a follower of a neo-Nazi cult. He allegedly partially paid for a drone with a dropping mechanism to carry out an attack. The killing of his parents was seen as a way to obtain the financial means and autonomy necessary for his plan.

Casap was arrested in Kansas, 800 miles away from his Wisconsin home, after running a stop sign in his stepfather’s vehicle. The car contained his stepfather’s gun, the victims’ driver’s licenses, and spent shell casings. Initially charged with theft and unauthorized use of a vehicle, Casap was later charged with multiple counts of homicide, hiding a corpse, theft, and misappropriation of identification. He had reportedly shared his plans with a classmate.

During a court appearance, it was revealed that his mother was found covered with blankets in a hallway, while his stepfather was found covered in clothing in an office. Casap’s attorneys did not comment on the case.
