Yoder continues volleyball career at Eastern New Mexico

Farmington High School senior Jayla Yoder made a significant milestone in her volleyball career by signing her letter of intent to join the Eastern New Mexico University Greyhounds team. Yoder, a standout player for the Scorpions, led her high school team with 35 service aces, over 120 digs, and 41 kills in the previous season. Along with her success on the high school team, Yoder also played for the Four Corners Volleyball club team under the guidance of head coach Ron Becker.

Yoder’s decision to join the Greyhounds comes as the team looks to rebound under new head coach Karli Bustos after a challenging previous season. Bustos, known for her coaching style and success at Trinidad State Junior College, aims to bring a new level of competitiveness to the Eastern New Mexico University volleyball program.

Yoder’s dedication, athleticism, work ethic, and leadership skills have earned her praise from her coaches and teammates, making her a valuable addition to the Greyhounds team. With Yoder’s signing, Eastern New Mexico University gains a promising player with a track record of success and a commitment to excellence on and off the court.
