The Miami Dolphins welcomed Arizona running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt for a visit on Monday, as announced on his social media. Croskey-Merritt’s collegiate career began at Alabama State before a stint at New Mexico and ultimately landing at Arizona for the 2024 season. Despite only playing one game with the Wildcats due to eligibility issues, he managed to showcase his skills by rushing for 106 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.
Before his time at Arizona, Croskey-Merritt received Second Team All-Mountain West honors for his impressive performance with New Mexico where he ran for 1,190 yards and scored 18 touchdowns. While he wasn’t invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in 2025, Croskey-Merritt was named MVP of the East-West Shrine Bowl and measured in at 5’10, 206 pounds during the Big 12 Pro Day.
With the recent departure of Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson, the Dolphins made moves in the offseason by signing Alexander Mattison to their running back roster alongside De’Von Achane and 2024 fourth-round pick Jaylen Wright. The addition of Croskey-Merritt could further bolster their running back corps for the upcoming season.
