Wagner, 40, with federal arson charges for allegedly vandalizing a Tesla dealership in New Mexico and setting fire to the state Republican Party headquarters. Attorney General Pam Bondi highlighted efforts to combat vandalism against the company during a recent Cabinet meeting. Other cases involve individuals using Molotov cocktails to targeted Tesla cars and fire stations.
During a search of Wagner’s home, investigators found incendiary devices, spray paint, and a stencil with a graffiti message that matched the one found at the Republican Party headquarters. The FBI has created a task force to coordinate investigations around these attacks. Bondi has emphasized that there will be no negotiations or plea deals with those charged in the Tesla attacks.
