Discover the thrill of outdoor sports at ‘A Tale of Two Tails’ in New Mexico


Residents of Glenwood, New Mexico are gearing up for the unique public event “A Tale of Two Tails” happening on April 25th at Glenwood Community Park. Sponsored by Impact Outdoors and Outlaw RV, the event will celebrate the popular outdoor sports of turkey and fish tail hunting in the Gila Wilderness.

The event will kick off with a flag-raising ceremony honoring service members, youth, and volunteers, followed by a free dinner with picnic fare and community-provided desserts. Attendees can also enjoy live music, a mechanical bull, and a bounce house, along with exciting giveaways and a raffle for unique items.

Local experts will provide information on the rich history of Catron County, the biodiversity of the Gila Wilderness, turkey hunting tactics, and more. Veterans and youth participants will have the opportunity to camp, fish, and hunt wild turkeys as part of the Impact Outdoors outreach program over the following days.
