The FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives will lead the investigation. Barela emphasized that the party will not be silenced by this act of violence and pledged to emerge stronger and more united in the fight for the people of New Mexico and the country.

The incident has caused outrage within the party, with many condemning the attack as an attempt to undermine their mission and intimidate members. The Republican Party of New Mexico has vowed to continue their work undeterred by this act of vandalism.Authorities are taking the incident seriously, recognizing the severity of the attack and the implications it may have for the safety and security of political organizations in the area.
