Aggies Struggle in Kennesaw, Set for Western Kentucky Showdown

MARIETTA, Ga. – NM State concluded a challenging weekend in Georgia, dropping both of their games against Kennesaw State. As they head into their final two series of the season, NM State currently occupies the fifth spot in the league standings.

In a dramatic first game, lasting over 42 hours due to weather delays, NM State led 7-3 but ultimately fell 11-9 after Kennesaw rallied with a six-run ninth inning, capped by a three-run homer from Nate Anderson. Mitch Namie and Austin Corbett stood out offensively, contributing crucial runs.

Game two saw NM State struggle offensively, with KSU jumping ahead early by scoring a two-run homer. The Aggies managed only one run on five hits, with Gianni Horvat providing a highlight in the fifth with a double and contributing the lone RBI.
