Leading the pack is Elkins, who tops the state with 33 RBIs from 40 hits in 22 games, boasting an impressive .588 batting average. Following closely, Jimenez is batting .431 with 28 RBIs through 26 games, while Beasley is making waves with six home runs, the most among freshmen, and a .500 batting average.
Not only do these young athletes excel at the plate, but they also shine in the circle. Yuzos leads freshman pitchers with 48 strikeouts over 38 2/3 innings and holds a .342 batting average, while Woodie has racked up 47 strikeouts and is batting .377.
