ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Laughter may be a universal language, but New Mexico comedian Tripp Stelnicki is blending his political experience with humor as he embarks on a new journey in life. The former aide to Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is now taking his comedic talents to a broader audience while embracing fatherhood.
Tripp, who had been performing comedy prior to his stint in politics, is known for weaving political commentary into his act. However, he emphasizes that while political jokes are part of his repertoire, they don’t define him. "Comedy’s about breaking taboos. I always aim to be authentic and true to my beliefs, but humor must come first," he remarked.
